Secret Colour Bonus

As we now move even closer to the campaigns end, we have reached another secret milestone, this time, for a change, it augments the £25 softcover edition of the book, this secret goal will mean the smaller softcover edition will now also be in colour too. Whilst it wont be any larger, it will now show the artwork in colour as it was meant to be seen...

We are happy that thanks to the amount of funding we have received we can now make sure every edition of the book, be it a PDF, softcover or hardback book will now be in colour.

Final Goal

With this reveal all we have left is the final goal, which if achieved before the campaign ends will mean a sixth character story for the upgraded PDF and Hardback edition of the  comic AND like the fifth at that time we will run a vote to see which character will appear in it.

Complete Twin Story

We have with some short time still left of the campaign reached our £40k goal, which ensures that the full story of the twins will be created and included in the hardback book edition and Upgraded PDF, along with special cover artwork and bonus imagery of the women added to the book along with profile images too.

Additional Acrylic Figures

By reaching this goal for the twins, it means the Character Acrylic Figure Set is also augmented, with two new Acrylics, one for each of the sexy twins: Suzi and Suki.

The Character Acrylic Set add-on will now include not six Acrylic Figures but eight, featuring the six characters from the stories so far (Lilly, Lucy, Emma, Abigail, Shelby & Envy) but the two twin characters too (Suzi and Suki). These acrylics are available as an add-on item to anyone on a physical reward tier.

Next Goal

Despite us now being in the final hours of the campaign, it is still possible to reach our next stretch goal which would add even more content to the final hardback book.

A New Secret Goal

We have now exceeded £35,000 in funding which brings us closer to the £40k goal and a guaranteed fifth story featuring what looks to be the Twins from the characters we revealed last update. But it also means we can reveal a secret goal we had planned for this level of funding.

This goal unlocks an upgrade for the Maid Girls Hardback Book as well as an update to the upgraded PDF among other things.

Primarily this goal means that we will be making the Hardback Book a little larger than the softcover black and white edition. Not only will it have all the extra stretch goal content but it will also have larger page dimensions. This will not only mean the individual pages be larger and thus clearer, but will also allow us to create a border around each page ensuring when it is printed there is no possibility of cutting off content.

We do not know the exact dimensions the book will be but expect it to be at least 6" x 9" in size compared to the smaller softcover edition, when the content is all completed we will be creating a few different versions to determine which is the best size and within our budget for creation, to ensure backers get the best possible book. Our plan remains for us to finish all artwork including the bonus content by the end of 2021 so that we have a good couple of month to test alternate sizes of the book before proceeding with the final production and shipping of the books to our backers in March.

Next up this goal will also mean the hardback edition and the upgraded PDF will also include additional artworks, a few additional illustrations, as well as profile artworks and bonus pages about the stories for the appendix. As some extra fun imagery for the book to fill it out a little more. Plus we can now confirm with this level of funding that we will be including a fifth story. meaning the differences between the editions now as follows:

Thank you to everyone who has voted, with the achievement of this stretch goal and the amount of time the campaign has left we can now confirm that a fifth story will be appearing within the book and as we are now confirming this we can announce that we have a winner for the poll we posted.

As you can see The Twins won by no small margin and those two will therefore feature as the primary characters in the fifth story of the book, and the more we raise by the time the campaign ends the longer this fifth story will be.

Naturally if we exceed this goal we still have the final goal of the campaign to reach and a final batch of content to potentially include too.

Stretch Goal Steam Key DLC

With the comic campaign going so well, we have now funded for inclusion in the hardback edition and the upgraded PDFs the extra stretch goal content, which includes new artworks, centrepieces, illustrations, profile artwork and most importantly three new stories so far:

• Shelby's Story
• Envy's Story
• The Twins Story

Before now these extra stories were not included in the Steam Key add-on for the Maid Cafe video game. But now that enough content has been funded it is possible for us to offer this extra content as a new steam key on the campaign:

• Stretch Goal Comic Steam Key: +£2

As such a new add-on item has been added to the campaign that costs £2, which will include ALL stretch goal content, so it includes those three stories as well as other bonus content such as the bonus illustrations and centrepieces, which will all be available within the video game to buy and view in the players apartment, viewing each comic or set will then unlock additional in-game items to buy such as ingredients and potentially grant you new recipes to craft with as well.

For those unsure or unfamiliar with the Steam Keys we are offering below is some information:

Maid Cafe Video Game

Before the launch of the Maid Girls comic, we ran a kickstarter to fund the development of our first video game, called Maid Cafe. It is a game that sees a male protagonist working as a pastry chef in a Maid Cafe, but many of the women he works with are former girl-friends making things that bit trickier as they seem to all wish to rekindle their relationship with him. In addition to this rivals in the neighbourhood appear to undermine him in the cafe since they want to be known as the best patisserie in the area. The player will have to navigate the relationships, whilst also learning advanced recipes so that they can beat their rivals and maybe find love as well as a permanent position at the Cafe.

In addition this game thanks to the amazing amount of funding received on the first campaign includes side stories and bonus content featuring another 21 Characters in addition to the primary five women of the game. As well as a variety of other cool interactive content. Due to its success we then decided to create the Maid Girls comic as a stand alone comic featuring the characters from this game. If you werent part of the original campaign and would like this game, it is available as an add on item:

Maid Cafe Adult DLC Packs

The maid cafe game, will be released as an all ages edition, whilst all stories will be included in the game, the many explicit adult scenes will be available via Adult DLC Packs, Due to the success of the kickstarter campaign we funded for inclusion six adult DLC packs, these are split into two sets:

Set 1 - DLC Packs (Maid Love DLC, Risque Rivals DLC, Intimate Epilogues DLC)

Set 2 - DLC Packs (Sexy Saleswomen DLC, Sexy Shenanigans DLC, Sexy Supernatural DLC)

Similarly if you were not part of the original campaign you can pledge to receive these Steam DLC Packs as well via the add-ons, but those who were part of the original campaign are already likely to receive all of these, and if unsure they can check their Backerkit to confirm what DLC they are already due to prevent accidental double purchases. For new backers these DLC can be ordered via add-ons too:

• £6 - Maid Cafe Adult DLC 1 Add-on
• £6 - Maid Cafe Adult DLC 2 Add-on

Maid Cafe Comic DLC Keys

Last but not least we now also have the brand new Steam Keys we are offering for the video game, these will add to the game the option to collect and view in-game the comic stories we are creating for the Maid Girls comic book via this campaign. These keys are completely separate to the physical Books and PDF upgrades and will provide a steam key that will add additional content to the video game.

• Maid Girls Comic Steam DLC Keys: +£4
• Stretch Goals Comic Steam Key: +£2

These two new add-on items, were not part of the original Kickstarter campaign for the Maid Cafe game and so if anyone wants them they need to select them via the Add-ons when they select their reward tier, for existing backers you click modify your reward and then go through the screens and you will find the add-ons with all add-ons listed for your reward level.

N.b. These DLC Steam Key Add-ons are not included in any standard reward tier and are only available as an add-on item. 

Maid Girls Comic Steam DLC Keys

This £4 add-on will grant backers steam keys for the four main comic stories, featuring: Lilly, Lucy, Emma and Abigail, allowing players of the game to collect and read them during each game.  The steam key will also add other items to the game such as new items to purchase and new recipes for you to make as a pastry chef.

Stretch Goals Comic Steam Key

This £2 add-on will be similar to the main Maid Girls Comic Steam DLC Key, except the extra content it will unlock are the stretch goal stories funded via the campaign, so far this includes: Shelby, Envy and The Twins comic stories to collect and read during the game. This steam key will also add other items to the game such as new items to purchase and new recipes for you to make as the pastry chef.

Optional Items

All of these video game items from the Maid Cafe main steam key to the Adult DLC packs and the new Comic DLC packs are completely optional.  If you choose not to get them now, then you will always have the option to purchase them on Steam when the game releases in Summer 2022. All DLCs will be made available albeit individually, though some may get excluded automatically from certain territories due to their adult content.

We have posted this update simply to inform backers of all the options available for the Maid Cafe video game, that is separate to the main Comic books we are creating in this campaign.

Upgraded Digital PDF

This is a quick update, due to the confusion around how to upgrade for the ultimate Digital PDF we have now created an add-on in Kickstarter for receiving this. So from now on anyone can easily add this item via the Add-on sections if you wish, simply modify your pledge and select it there.

Make sure if you have already added funds for the upgraded PDF and you choose to use the add-on that you remove any bonus funds already added for it. So you do not accidentally pay more than you want to.

But do not worry to much about this whether you select the add-on in Kickstarter, or simply increase your pledge amount total in Kickstarter, you will still be able to select and confirm the upgrade after the campaign ends. We chose to simply add the add-on now as an option for those who were confused by the fact that a specific add-on was not previously created for the Upgraded Digital PDF.

N.b. 

• If you are pledged at the £1 tier and select this add-on you will not receive it as the minimum pledge level needed for the add-on is the £6 reward tier as it already includes the PDF edition to upgrade.
• Similarly those who pledge at the £550 reward tier, do not need to select this upgrade as the digital PDF upgrade automatically is included at your tier alongside other physical and digital comic rewards and items.

Sorry for the confusion to those who were unsure about this and we hope this will make things easier for those who wish to receive the ultimate PDF edition from this point forwards.
